Gratien « Jeff » Comeau

La famille a le chagrin d’annoncer son décès survenu à Sturgeon Falls, le samedi 27 juin

2026, à l’âge de 96 ans. Fils d’Odilon Comeau et de Gratia Comeau (née Comeau). Époux

aimant de feu Ida Comeau (née Miron). Père bien-aimé de Gisèle Lachance (Richard) et

de Luc (Marie-Noël). Il manquera énormément à Erik (Ashley), Mathieu (Kaitlyn) et

Maya, qui garderont de lui un souvenir affectueux. Frère de feu Marcel (feu Yvonne), de

feu Laurent (Diane), de Fernand (Florence), de Jean-Marie (Rachel) et de Gérard

(Pauline). La famille tient à exprimer sa gratitude envers le personnel du Domaine

Leclair du Château, de l’Hôpital général de West Nipissing, du Dr Beaucage ainsi qu’à

Normand pour son amitié et son soutien constant. La famille tient également à

remercier le Club de l’amitié de Verner et le Club de Golf de Verner.

Les services funéraires sont organisés par le salon funéraire Theoret-Bourgeois et Crystal

Crematorium, à Sturgeon Falls et auront lieu le mardi 28 juillet. La visitation aura lieu de

10h00 à 11h30, suivi d’un service funéraire au salon.

Des dons au Club de l’amitié de Verner ou à la Fondation des maladies du cœur et de

l’AVC seraient appréciés au lieu de fleurs.

The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Saturday, June 27th, 2026

at the age of 96 years. Son of Odilon Comeau and of Gratia Comeau (née Comeau).

Loving husband of the late Ida Comeau (née Miron). Dear father of Gisèle Lachance

(Richard) and Luc (Marie-Noël). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his

grandchildren Erik (Ashley), Mathieu (Kaitlyn), and Maya. Brother of the late Marcel (the

late Yvonne), the late Laurent (Diane), Fernand (Florence), Jean-Marie (Rachel), and

Gérard (Pauline). The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the

Domaine Leclair of the Château, of the West Nipissing General Hospital, of Dr. Beaucage

as well as to Normand for his friendship and unwavering support. The family would also

like to thank the Club de l'amitié de Verner, and the Verner Golf Club.

Funeral services in care of the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home and Crystal

Crematorium, Sturgeon Falls will be held Tuesday July 28th, with visitation from 10:00 to

11:30 followed by a service at the funeral home.

Donations to the Club de l'amitié de Verner or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation

would be appreciated instead of flowers.
